The DSB Beginners Brass Class & Training Band rehearses on a Friday Evening from 18:00pm to 18:45pm
Our Quavers class is flourishing we currently have Six new beginners – 2 Cornets, 1 Horn, 1 Baritone, 1 Trombone & 1 percussionist this group is a mix of both children and adults, if you would like to know more then please do get in touch.
Did you know that Dorchester has a Beginners Brass class and a Brass Band Training Band both groups are open to children from aged 8 and adults who wish to learn a brass instrument.
Are you an adult who used to play a brass instrument and would like to take up the hobby again if so we run refresher courses to get you back into banding.
Are you an adult who would like to take up a hobby with your child, we can help you both.
Learning to play a brass instrument is proven to help with your breathing (asthma) and is certainly good for your mental health.
All tuition and instruments are provided free of charge if you would like to know more then please drop me a message.
