Main Band

We welcome players of all Brass/Percussion Instruments however to complete our Main Band line up we require Eb & Bb Bass, Solo Cornet (position negotiable) and Soprano Cornet players.

Training Band

Dorchester has a Beginners class and a Training Band both groups are open to children from aged 8 and adults who wish to learn a brass instrument.

Are you an adult who used to play a brass instrument and would like to take up the hobby again if so we run refresher courses to get you back into banding.

Learning to play a brass instrument is proven to help with your breathing and is certainly good for your mental health.

All tuition and instruments are provided free of charge if you would like to know more then please drop us a message.
